We Pack Printing and Packaging PLC was founded in 2019 by Fatuma Mohammed, starting with a single letterpress machine. The company's capital has since grown to over 200 million Birr — doubling from roughly 100 million Birr just two years ago — now running 20 production machines across printing, die cutting, cutting, gluing and folding, and lamination.

What we do

We manufacture packaging for seven industries: pharmaceutical, food & beverage, agro-processing, FMCG, cosmetics, garment, and bar soap & detergent — every order handled in-house, from structural design through finishing.

Our facility

Based at Kotebe 02, Addis Ababa, the facility runs 10 German printing press units, including two Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 74 offset presses, alongside die-cutting, cutting, gluing/folding, and lamination equipment. Nothing moves to an outside vendor mid-order — print to finish, one roof.

Team & culture

Just as We Pack grew from a single letterpress machine into a 20-machine facility, much of its workforce has grown the same way — from the ground up. Three of the company's main press operators came through a structured on-the-job training path rather than being hired pre-trained.

That same growth extends to leadership: women hold senior roles across the company, starting with founder Fatuma Mohammed and continuing through the heads of Finance and Design. Half of the 50-to-100-person operations workforce is women.
